Game Recap

The Northwest boys varsity soccer team opened the 2017 campaign with a hard fought, come from behind tie vs Sherwood. After falling behind 2-0 after 20 minutes the Jaguars started to take control of the game by having strong spells of possession. Northwest came out very strong in the 2nd half with Joshua Kalubayaka cutting the deficit in half with his 1st of the season off a great drive to goal by Dilane Zouantcha. Just minutes later Duncan Dunkwu scored a header on a tremendous service by Anthony Jimenez to tie the game. The Jaguars continued to control the game the rest of the way hitting 2 posts, but couldn’t find a way to get the winner. The Jaguars return to the field Thursday at 7:15 at home vs the Blair Blazers. We hope to see everyone there.
