Game Recap

The Northwest Girls played solid first half. They kept possession of the ball majority of the half but could not create clear enough chances to get the go ahead goal. They ended the half at 0-0. After halftime they came out strong and scored the first goal within 4 mins of the whistle. With the all important first goal, the Lady Jags were then able to get a quick second. After the second goal however, Northwest lost their rhythm bit and allowed Sherwood back into the game by carelessly conceding possession of the ball. Sherwood applied a bit of pressure and after Northwest were up 3-0, got a goal from some determined wide play, a cross into the box, and a tidy finish. At 3-1, with about 12 minutes left in the game, the Northwest Jags finally regained control of the midfield and were able to better see out the game.
